Danny van der Wielen writes alternative pop songs that pair intimate storytelling with rich, layered arrangements. Guided by his distinctive voice and guitar playing, his songs unfold gradually, revealing new details with every listen.

His first singles, Fixes and Old Bar, offer a first glimpse of his debut EP, set for release in late 2026 [pre order]. The EP was created in close collaboration with producer Marien Dorleijn (Moss, Opera Alaska), known for his work with artists including Robin Kester and Blaudzun.

The songs emerged during a period of personal change, when making music regained a sense of urgency — a way to process experience and turn its impact into something tangible.

Dutch music platform 3voor12 Leiden praised Fixes for the sharpness and clarity with which Danny captures its subject matter, calling it a “strong debut single.”
